Lincoln House Landlords M&E upgrades – Principle Contractor
AD Mechanical acted as principle contractor for the fit out of landlords M&E Services. The works were carried out in a 110 year old Grade 2 listed high end apartment building in Knightsbridge.
The project consisted of two phases of installation works run consecutively –
Phase 1 – The complete replacement of all the landlords heating plant and equipment, cold water storage tank and booster pump set, all associated pipework, fittings and valves, and a complete new Building management control system. All connected on to the existing building distribution systems to re-serve all the apartments.
The complete rewiring of small power and lighting within the entire basement area.
General building work involved the construction of a new cold water tank room within a light well, replacement of seven sets of basement fire doors with associated frames and furniture, fire compartmentation works, complete redecoration.
Phase 2 – The complete installation of a new basement LTHW heating and boosted cold water pipework distribution system fed from the new landlords plant and equipment, and electrical containment system for a future meter billing network system, and then including further feeding of 12 new external pipework and containment distribution risers with valved and capped branches at each floor level ready to serve into each apartment in the future for connection to a Heat Interface Unit for the planned apartment modernisations.
